My 7 year old golden retriever’s fur falls out in clumps. We live in Arizona could that be the reason?

Hello,

I don’t think living in Arizona is the cause behind your dog’s hair loss, but it is possible that he or she could be allergic to something that is found in that area and/or has picked up an infection or parasite infestation from the local environment.

The list of potential causes for your dog’s symptoms is very long. Your best bet is to bring him or her in to see a veterinarian before the problem gets worse.
